Update on Kiva

There is one more thing that I wanted to note about the Kiva matching grant initiative. Because of the current rush of interest in Kiva they are having trouble keeping entrepreneurs on the site because they fund so quickly. This makes it more difficult for new members to make new loans. However, they are constantly putting up new entrepreneurs and the need remains immensely larger than even the resources that the current interest in micro-lending has raised. So, if you want to participate please persevere and keep checking back periodically on the Kiva site. We will take care of the rest. Our mutual efforts are going to become even more important in a weakened economy where giving will probably be drying up as conditions worsen. Thanks.....keep going....
